St. Stephen the Martyr Preschool

Welcome to St. Stephen the Martyr's Preschool and Extended Care Program, a licensed agency of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services . We began operations in September of 1993. We started using the Montessori Method in September of 1997.

Our program is established on the belief that positive early educational experiences in a Christian environment are the fundamental building blocks of a happy, productive life. We hope you will become a part of our community by offering suggestions and constructive comments as well as moral support. We want you to look inside our busy, happy, creative classrooms and see your child at work. We want you to appreciate the value of your child's work and growing curiosity. We want you to understand our philosophy and policies.

We are a small private school located on the west side of Columbus, just half a mile east of Georgesville Road and on the south side of Clime Rd. We acommodate 48 children, age 3 to 5, in two classrooms.

Our program runs from September to June. We follow the school calendar as used in the local public school district, Columbus City Schools.
